The first one was a PPV fight, right? Do you think it would have been PPV had they made an immediate rematch?

I really really doubt Groves 'ducked' degale for a rematch. that notion is laughable to me.

I'm not saying that. He did what he had to do. Other than a little noise from Degale and Warren, there was little ask for a rematch of such a stale fight.

Who cares how much the purse was? DeGale rematch was Groves' biggest and most profitable fight at the time but he didn't want none. He instead fought a guy that DeGale had already embarrassed.

I feel Groves may retire Froch in a rematch.

Thinking of DeGale, it'd be interesting if Matchroom picked him up.

He really needs a decent promoter who won't keep putting him in events in a venue that has a more popular cinema next door to it than the venue. Hopefully this eliminator will get him some better fights.

Yea Degale was competitive, where Froch wasn't!!! Numpty!!!

            Degale Lost.

Froch was one point down, and WON by TKO

            What is your point???

groves needs to STFU! suck it up buttercup. he had his chance & he lost. the IBF is giving him a gift... still hope froch vacates just to screw this clown out of a title & payday. froch offered a 7 digit rematch & he said no. he will be lucky to get 15% if the fight even happens. if a fight with Chavez brings a better payday then he will probably vacate unless he pays groves step aside money. I hope he dumps the belt myself just because groves is such a clown. if that happens he won't get a shot at the vacant belt either. andre ward said he'd fight groves in England so all may not be lost... i'd like to see a rematch but I wouldn't mind laughing at groves if froch vacates...

Typical Froch fan starts talking about Degale, anything but admit Froch is **** scared to step back in the ring with Groves..85% of the purse, millions of pounds, sold out arena, yet our Froch has turned all girly like a man in drag

As Dirk says, at the time it would have been the biggest pay day available.

Seems to me that Froch and Hearn are open to a rematch; heck, they offered Groves a seven-figure pay-day to get it on.

Its just greed now. In a way that's understandable, given that it will be Groves's last fight.

groves gets a rematch but he is not in the top 2 like the IBF said recently that is why the split was 85\15 so he is not the mandatory challenger. so if the belt is vacated how does groves still remain mandatory? then again this boxing & alex leapai is next for wlad...

Typical Groves fan, ignoring his own contradictions.

I'll admit it when you admit Groves was **** scared to step back in the ring with DeGale and Anderson
