and funny you bring up Degale, who also said if Froch doesnt fight Groves, its a duck

Very bad example on ur part there mate
So Groves is allowed to fight DeGale "along the line" but Froch has to give Groves an immediate rematch?

      The situation was clearly different.

There's little-to-no excitement for that fight. First fight was a stinker of proportions. Despite what both promised, none did anything.

The same cannot be said for Froch-Groves.

We all know it won't happen even if the guys wanted it.

Groves isn't going to box on Channel 5 infront of some shopping centre fans.

When De Gale gets a title, I think it'll happen again, it's just bad business sense to do it now.

Im not even talking about now. There was no immediate rematch because Groves didn't want one. Claimed he'd "bashed up" DeGale twice

There WAS excitement and clamour for an immediate rematch. Groves wanted none of it.

No you don't understand, the fans were clamouring for Groves to fight Paul Smith instead

Froch has 3 fights max left, Degale and Groves have years to go. Also Degale vs Groves will be huge if a bigger prize is on the line. Degale interview posted in this thread, he clearly says Groves and him will happen again, for a bigger title, the public wants it.

Froch is shart scared of fighting Groves and Degale because losing to a foreigner is easier to live with, especially if they are p4p no2, losing to these young hungry lions is a different story

For years Froch called Joe Cal all kinds of names, only for Froch to end up like Joe Cal and run away to vegas

The exact same could apply to Froch-Groves II. If Groves were to win a title, it would make it a bigger fight.
