Can it already.. Vitali Klitschko is one of ONLY 4 heavyweights to win a title 3 times.... Holyfield/Lewis/Ali are the ONLY others. That is a resume enhancer you discount. Vitali DOMINATED every single fighter he's fought & stop fabricating that they were all bums... they weren't.

Vitali dominated a top 5 alltime great heavyweight ONLY to have the fight stopped on cuts... sick & tired of everyone trashing his comp.... when he's HANDLED every type of opponent that has come his way with any type of style.

Klitschko has more than proven his worth & capabilities.. it's only morons & haters such as yourself that refuse to acknowledge the obvious.. 47 different opponents had no clue how to outbox him.. how to outslug him... choose another 47 from your list & THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENS.... NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.

He's got EVERYTHING in his favor.. size.. strength.. power.. reach.. kickboxing pedigree an overwhelming sense of spacing & distance & an IRON clad jaw... no one has EVER had ALL of the above advantages in spades the way he does & the results have spoken for themselves... THAT'S the reason the results have been unprecedented... keep on thinking it's the comp when IT'S ANYTHING BUT!

Statisically Wilder is the ATG heavyweight in terms of punching power and KO% far greater than vitali...Wilder GOAT HW.

Vitali Klitschko had 2 less stoppages in his first 30 fights... but also 2 LESS knockdowns & 2 more title defenses. He's still the ONLY heavyweight title holder to have a perfect KO ratio while holding one of the current 4 recognized major belts..... & he had a BETTER scorecard ratio at the 30 fight mark.

I wouldn't put Vitali among the greatest HW champions, but he was certainly great in his own right, and I respect what he did.

If you respected what he did you would certainly put him up there among the greatest.

LOL come on, don't go there, yes Lewis got in a great punch to open up the cut and a couple more after but Vitali threw more and landed more throughout the fight and hurt Lewis multiple times, whereas Vitali was wobbled just once. In the final round, Lewis was clearly gassing, his timing was out for the most part, he was tired and breathing heavily. Vitali was still landing big, he had him.

A better defence of Lewis that night would have been that Lewis was past his best, which he understood and that's why he retired.

You do know that emphasizing your points in capitals make you seem like a douche right?

Lol, attacking my boxing knowledge with assumptions because I'm telling you the fact (which you know) that majority of observers will say?

Lol again, let's say he didnt have those wins against Holyfield and Tyson, how would people judge his resume? Not as great, that's for sure. And, the 'facts' are - Holyfield was 37 (the age people say is 'old and past it' when referring to Lennox v Vitali, basically at the end of his real career as after that point he didn't really get a notable win again (I don't count John Ruiz). And Tyson, as I already said, was shot compared to his prime. Another fact is, there are more casual fans and observers who will only think of the names Tyson and Holyfield when thinking of Lennox's resume as the standout wins - if you asked someone on the street that would be names given, that's his legacy.

So what are you trying to say, if you take away those two names, Lennox's resume is still really an ATG one? Morrison, Tucker, Bruno etc...good names but without those ATG wins it's not on the same level. And TBH, it's not even my personal opinion about Tyson being his standout win, Lennox would probably say it as well as the random person on the street or sports broadcasters, and if I recall he has said it in interviews because that was a big part of his motivation, to get that win over Tyson. To quote a commentator when Lennox KO'd Tyson "Lewis has sealed his place in history forever!"
First off, people age differently. Holyfield was the champ when he fought Lewis and went on to win another world title, whereas Lewis had been talking retirement before Tyson.

Ruddock, Bruno, Mercer, Tucker, McCall, Rahman, Morrison, Briggs, Golota, Tua, Mason, Klitschko (whom you say is an ATG), Grant.....

Combine the best 10 wins on Wlad's & Vitalis resume and Lewis' best ten wins will still crap all over them.

all well and good, bro, but clean punches still opened that eye up. when the doctor stops a fight because of damage from clean punches, it's a TKO.

                    tko in six.

Vitali was gassing too, and the momentum was clearly in Lennox's favor. There's no more reason to think Vitali stops Lewis than there is that Lewis stops Vitali in the next round or two.
