Difference is Lewis retired after WINNING! Vits ducked a guy he quit against.

The WBC belt was held by most of the alltime greats from the past. so that's where you're wrong... Lennox Lewis was stripped of it as that was the last belt he was trying to hold onto WITHOUT fighting his mandatory.. keep believing Lewis retired with dignity.. that's a good one.. he ducked 3 of the longest reigning title holders of the last two decades & actually was responsible for the fragmentation that took place before the Klitschko's restored order.

Vitali was winning too..... & its' well documented his opponents aren't complaining about not facing him twice... Byrd just has a death wish believing he's the little engine that could even after 3 Klitschko beatdowns winning a cumulative less than 3 rds vs the Klitschko brand name.

            Let's delve further.

He gave away one of his belts & Holyfield & Byrd fought for it if I'm not mistaken.

Then it was Holyfield vs Ruiz

& ofcourse last but not least Sanders vs Klitschko.

Were Byrd.. Ruiz & Klitschko NOT the longest reigning title holders of the past decade & a half.. not named Wladimir or Lennox?... Did he NOT fight those 3 long reigning champions who were mandated to fight him right before he last had each belt... each time citing a different excuse? Afterall was he not the last undisputed & unified champion? This is the conduct you hold in high regard afterall...that's the last time we had a legitimate champion.. The brother's what do they do....?

They retrieve all of the belts & the Wbo for good measure & are ridiculed for restoring order & facing all of there mandatories... real common sense there my friend....The Klitschko's NEED TO BE RESPECTED FOR LEGITIMIZING & RESTORING ALL THE HEAVYWEIGHT belts but are ridiculed for it... this is the type of moronic shet I'm going up against & you're the head of the class.

For those who believe in lineal... Vitali is actually the last link to two of the 4 major belts today.. WBC & THE WBO..... he actually beat the **** out of Sanders who gave up the WBO so he could fight Vitali for the WBC belt Lennox gave up.. so in reality he retired the last one to legitimately have the WBC belt & beat the guy who last held the WBO... he hasn't lost since so there's your lineage.. in actuality he retrieved the WBO belt he lost to Byrd by beating Sanders that night but wasn't given OFFICIAL credit for it.

He did the same thing Wlad did who beat Byrd right after he took the Wbo belt from Vitali by beating Sanders right after he took the Wbo BELT from Wlad.

You could just tell with comments like these the butthurt Mike Tyson, Cassius Clay fanboys would come in and moan about the usual old excuses

Easily the two most dominant heavyweights boxing has seen since Joe Louis only difference is people back in Joe Louis era didn't see boxing as a full-time sport and didn't train anywhere near the same intensity and professionalism as the guys of today do.

Lewis was never stripped of the WBC belt, Vits didn't restore anything, his better, younger brother did and if you want to get technical the WBA title is the original title derived from the NBA belt. Get your facts straight son.

Ahead on cards is not winning. Winning is winning. 3 beat downs? Give credit where is due, Byrd beat the lesser brother by making him give up. This is a fact.
