If you THINK the eye was the reason Lucas lost that fight, then you must think Lucas was winning that fight up until his right eye ball disappeared...I get it, you need a mental pillow for the hard fall you cats took with the pre fight hype....I get it!!

Garcia swept the 3 rounds after the eye closed after a close first 6.

I dont know who would have won, but its safe to say it changed the course of the fight in Dannys favour.

Hopefully Matthysse can earn himself a rematch cos no matter your loyalties that was a fun fight

I dont think it will happen, because it never does, but i'd like to see how the fight plays out with a ref who doesnt allow clinching.

Seemed like Matthysse kept walking through heavy fire to close the distance only to be grabbed (sometimes with both arms) and then separated to long distance again.

I guess Garcia's punches didn't have nothing to do with his victory. If Lucas eye wouldn't had gotten swollen then it would be if Garcia won because of the low blows, holding, bad ref, etc.....

it wasn't a punch what caused the swelling. not saying it was intentional foul from danny, but it wasn't a punch, there is a video. matthysse only got tagged with danny's left hook once his right eye was closed, and even so the fight was competitive.

Idk about wining but it was real competitive until that eye closed(due to a Garcia punch) I would lov3 to see a rematch the boxing gods was in Garcia coner that night ....TBH I don't see Garcia holding on to that o for that much longer

Shut the **** up. You people don't know **** about boxing. How many times have you guys had Danny Garcia losing. He just keeps winning and winning. Lucas got his ass whooped. That's it. Everybody Danny has fought, they said he would lose. His 0 is still intact. **** he fought khan on 2 weeks notice and flat lined his ass. Start talking about what you know.
