floyd became a big star when he fought oscar and marquez. mexicans are the ethnic group that buy most the PPVs in america.

but even before the oscar fight, floyd did 325,000 ppv buys with carlos baldomir.

I think he might be a draw.

I mean, he's involved in the 2 biggest PPV's ever.

He's involved in a handful of the top 10 biggest PPV's.

Cotto's biggest PPV was with Mayweather.

Canelo's likely not going to see 2 Million + PPV's again.

Oscar De La Hoya's biggest PPV was Mayweather.

These are big stars but their biggest PPV were when they were across from Mayweather.

There might be a reason for that.

Fios or Comcast never gave me the option buy this PPV is love or hate Floyd; or Ticketmaster hasn't given me the love or hate Floyd option I will check again when the May 3rd tickets go on sale for me and my wife. If it was just about the undercard then arena would empty when the main-event came on. If it was just about hate nobody would pay attention. A real draw brings in both sides of the spectrum.

He was a big draw before but not anymore. He's showing his age and has become quite conservative in his fights so it tends to get boring seeing the same straight right, duck, then move around the ring. He just relies on good undercards to ensure ppv sales.

SHould floyd and manny eventually fight he could have the 3 highest ppv selling fights in history and the only 3 over 2 mil sold.

He has a huge fan base that sells and he has a huge base that buys to see him lose. like Lebron and jersey sales-he's #1 because he has a ton of fans but also because there are people who think buying his jersey and then burning it or defacing it hurts Lebron. There is nothing you can do about this level of ******ity.

Posters think they know why casual fans buy floyd fights but they don't. They think the people in this business care why people buy the fights. they don't.

Its all about sales and floyd sells.

Mosely is an anomaly, I'll admit

UK ppv is completely separate. hatton - mayweather sold over a million ppv in the UK, and that number is separate from the amount he sold in the states.

                    nice try, doe.

floyd mayweather is the biggest draw in the sport.
