Is Mayweather Really a PPV Draw?

It seems to me he always just attaches himself to a popular MEXICAN on a MEXICAN holiday

Arum himself said blacks, asians and whites don't by PPV, it's all about the MEXICAN's

I really doubt there are Mexican families sitting around saying "I can't wait to watch that negro again!"
They're obviously buying to watch their brothers

Nope. Never even heard of the guy except for when he fought great Mexicans like Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto, and Ricky Hatton.

I know people who throw watch parties for Floyd fights...and they all f**king hate the **** out of him. They buy his fights hoping to see him lose. They all complain that his fights are boring as f**k (which they are) yet they get the fights anyways.

You'll get delusional ass motherf**kers on this site who say that the majority buy his fights to watch his greatness but that's a bunch of bull****. Most people hate the **** out of him and hate him so bad they'll drop 70 bucks just hoping to see him get KTFO. If he had Andre Ward's persona nobody would give a damn about him. His fan base would be Andre's. He's a villain and that's why he sells.

If we're being real, Guerrero and Ortiz aren't Mexican either. They're American.

they also sold over a million ppv in the UK for 15pounds, which is around $25 US.

considering that people had to stay up until 5 AM to watch the fight, those numbers are huge. they generated almost twice as many [UK] ppv buys as tyson - lewis.
