What's interesting is that you regularly see guys exchanging blows after a bell, but you don't often see someone getting KOed after the bell. Bart is giving Mendez the rematch, so we can settle this little issue. I wouldn't go putting any money on Argenis, though....

For those who have seen more of Barthelemy than me is his left hook really that powerful or is Mendez's chin just suspect? The left hooks he landed were good punches but I was a bit surprised that Mendez's legs went from them.

I've seen Rances a couple times before and he didn't look half as good as he did last night . Maybe chalk it up to the new trainer . His punches were strong , crisp and accurate . Rances was landing a lot of body shots to and think he hurt him with a couple.

Yeah and he caught with the wraps right before the Mosley fight in the locker room. Nacime Richardson caught him . And margorito had to fight clean and got his ass whooped.

What's good too is he has almost what u can kinda call a fan pleasing style. He's willing to engage more . So all the haters can't use the boring excuse. Not sure who's promoting him but that may now be his biggest set back .


I will say that his celebration was a little over the top thou.... Usually Cuban boxers all a little more poise , like they're suppose to win. But whatever .. It's his first title..

Don George was KOed after the bell by Sierra. Sierra lost 2 points for the foul (not sure why, thought it had to be intentional), George was given 5 minuts to recover, then they went to the cards when he couldn't. Here it would be an No Decision since they only fought 2 rounds.
