Ward never said he didn't want the fight - he said it'd be a good fight for the future and that Golovkins progressing well and doing what he should. Mainly sounded like he was getting a bit irritated being asked about it all the time, cos there weren't even any ongoing negotiations about a potential fight.

Various people have tried to make something outta absolutely nothing - both fighters know this is something for the future. I wouldn't even be thinking about 2014. - Mid to late 2015 seems about the earliest potential date -depending of course on what happens in the meantime.

Arent these guys the opposite of duckers? a ward and GGG fight will mean a whole lot more in 2 years when golovkin officially cleans out the middleweight division, ward even said it as well. The fight makes sense for GGG when ever, for Ward it makes sense for it to build up even more. If GGG can't get the sort of names he wants at 160 then there is nothing to lose by going to 168 and trying is luck.
