Not really Ramirez probably made more for that fight then any fight he's had or will ever have, plus it took him that long to be ranked bcuz he's nowhere near as talented.

Salido is a tough out for anyone. And...he does make a point, though I am guessing he picked Loma because he offered the most money. With that being said Loma is a once in a generation talent, I expect nothing less than a total victory.

Lomachenko's amateur record is the best there has ever been.

          Rigo is not exciting.

And Rigo and Gamboa never wanted a title fight in their first or 2nd fight.

So why does the paying crowd always boo Rigo for?

And why didn't Rigo or Gamboa even attempt to go for a world title in their 2nd bout?

this a complete joke & unfair to any fighter in the rankings who has battled their way into a good position. 1 fight & he gets salido? win or lose it will open up a can of worms that could really damage boxing. I don't care about his amateur record. this is a 12 round title fight. wlad might as well give Anthony Joshua a title shot...

One of the things that for the past few years differentiate pro-amateur is the headgear, the Stevenson, Ali, Frazier era and before, was only the t-shirt, everything else was the same, again if you get pay because you are boxing you are a pro, the bigger the gloves the more damage could be inflicted, one punch ko doesn't do the damage that a 50 punches can do.
He's talking about "accumulative damage" over the coarse of a fight . The bigger the gloves the less chance of getting knocked out but a bigger chance of getting brain damage from the accumulation of punches.

So let me get it straight, you'd prefer Loma murdered a bum in a 6 rounder off TV, and Salido fought a no hoper on UniMas?

then why did you sign the contract? these ranked fighters shouldn't be mad at anyone other than Salido for agreeing to fight a guy with a record of 1-0. If Loma didn't have the extensive amateur background this would've been universally recognized as a cherry pick.
