The logic by which Loma is getting it is cuz he won the prestigious "International" title in his first fite which gets you automatic Top 10 and its a Voluntary defense After all for those who have pro dreams whats the point of going to olympics or world championships if you have to wait till 20 fites (4-5 year) to get a title. Loma has two gold medals which is no joke cuz for those posters who've actually boxed getting on the national team then making to olympics takes so much (politics) and Ukraine is good in amateurs too so must be hard.


But Salido is my boy and as i said b4 Lomachenko will get "Lopezed"

Yo, Orlando, I wish boxing was run on merits but let's not pretend it ever has been, bro. I think he'd be less upset if it was some nobody he was a big favorite over who got a shot he didn't deserve beating 25 nobodies plus the same guy Lomachenko beat. Well at least this is a win win situation for the fans because if Lomachenko wins then we will have something rare, a champion who got tested right away and doesn't have a padded record. If Salido wins, then he will once again prove that he is not a stepping stone and will also answer alot of questions about Lomachenko early on which will save us from having to watch him fight 30 or 40 overmatched opponents before getting a real test.

And why didn't Rigo or Gamboa even attempt to go for a world title in their 2nd bout?

Did Salido 'deserve' a fight for a vacant title? He was coming off a loss to Garcia, who basically wiped the canvas at Madison Square Garden Theater with Salido' аss.

Which ones? Salido got dropped 5x and got immediate title shot vs guy that earned it by coming out. Is Billy Dib due another shot?

Surely not.

You're talking Billy Dib? He was not much of a champ, and barely got by Mike Oliver.

Or you might talking Salido. Or course I'm not comparing him to Loma, just showing you how guys stumble into a title shot in all kinds of undeserving ways: by coming out as gay, by being a bum with a rematch like Dib, but getting dropped 5x and losing your previous fight, by being inept like the Argie patsies they import for vacant belts (in Australia or here, like Broner), by being Matt Hatton, Michael Jennings etc.

Now most of these are fights of no interest to anyone. For once we get an undeserving shot that's super interesting, super risky for the prospect, and everyone's butt hurts. Everyone saying, I'd rather these guys beat up on bums off tv
