I find Ward's bouts exciting. Rigo puts me to sleep.

As do most hardcore boxing fans. But HBO has to cater to the general public before us and the general public relates with either epic violence or a fighter they can understand and know something about.

That HBO Jim Lampley show is terrible.

Rigo has one fight left with Top Rank and he's a free agent. Mares said he would fight Rigo if he beats Johnny Gonzalez in their rematch. Hopefully GBP signs Rigo to a multiple fights deal so we can see him fight Mares and Santa Cruz.

Rigo is a KO artist with really smart ring IQ and solid defense. Rigo will KO the next fighter he faces and if it's a marquee name it will end by a body shot

It's quite obvious you just don't like black people.

As much as mexicans & mexican americans tap into their respective market. Just like PR boxers. You're naive to think boxing doesn't involve race, flags, location, etc.

As with my point, go to a bar and watch a fight. Look who's cheering for who.

I was gonna bring this up...Lampley is HBO's cold war attack dog . The half hour "Fight Game" show is for him to criticize Golden Boy Promotions and its stars. This time he gave half hearted praise to Floyd, while at the same time suggesting he's picking easy opponents like Khan. He took a swipe at Bernard too, implying that he takes very few risks and only does enough to win the round. Max supports Guillermo, but Lampley doesn't. If Lampley thinks Guillermo is dull, its a safe bet that HBO does .

Agreed. Boxing is similar to football, its all about race.
