One thing is clear: they will never change Rigo or Ward -- these two guys are too stubborn...
HBO doesn't back Guillermo anymore...but they back Ward eh?

I find Rigondeaux more entertaining.
His skills are on a higher level than Ward - he wins fights with his superior boxing ability.
Rigo doesn't need to resort to dirty stuff like Ward does (deliberate headbutts, hitting off the break and hitting while holding).
And unlike Andre Ward, Rigo is always willing to do random PED testing.Comment

... Well, Ward says he is "old school", while Rigo is "Cuban school". Which is a huge difference, though...I find Rigondeaux more entertaining.

The smaller fellows lost alot of appeal after the late fifties! Most fans favor fighters who they have a common ground with and thats unconsciencely size!
The days of the greats like Sadler & Pep had become fewer and even Zarate' and many like him couldn't headline on their own in the big venues!
The most popular weight classes start at Middleweight and move up not down. Ray.Comment

I'm shocked at some of these Ward comments! I've been following him ever sinse the super-six, and maybe a fight before that, and I dont recall one boring unwatchable fight. Some seem to have a problem with his roughhouse tactics? Its a FIGHT
! If you have a problem with him, you'd have a problem with guys like Vic Darchynian and Edison Miranda! Ward doesn't do anything truly dirty like Chisora turning a punch into an elbow shot to the temple. But, hey, he's not in there to make it confortable for his opponent! I literally fell asleep on Guillermo/King Kong, but not any Ward fight to date!
