he says he wants to bring the fight to Miami against the best opponents,good luck with getting good opponents to go to Miami and who would televise it? I doubt hbo would,unless they can convince them once again and tell them how this time it will be different which I doubt..these promoters just need to accept reality,he's a good fighter but bad for business

that's funny because that's actually what I watched when the replay was on later that night,just watched that old movie....cant wait for this Saturday though

My plan for Rigo:

1. Defend your titles at 122 in Miami multiple times per year(HBO or any other network)
2. Move up to 126 for big fights only (on HBO)
3. Stop turning down $350K purses and accept fights on Pacquiao/Zou Schming undercards
4. Travel and take on champions from Europe, Japan, South America, etc.
5. Stay active (3-4 fights per year)



GGG does plenty of off-network title defenses. Nothing wrong with that.

As a co-promoter, why doesn't he do any promoting himself and put all the blame on Bob Arum? Is he supposed to be paid for doing nothing?

he can do all the promoting himself and be good at it too,but at the end of the day rigo is the one getting in that ring,people will forget about the promotion once they are in their seats watching,they can do their part of promoting but rigo has to do his part and making the promoters look good with the work they did,at the end of the day rigo is the main guy,he's the one either putting on a good show or a stinking fight for the fans,so in reality what good is it to promote a fight if your fighter is going to bore people? just let him fight how he wants to and promoters need to stop complaining,it's rigo's choice to fight the way he does
