Also, theres a difference between being able to move and doing it effectively. You would expect someone as athletic as him to be able to do so but who knows. We'll see indeed.

Yeah it's true, fighters say a lot of things it doesn't always mean they can do it.

I think he's going to have to show me more than he has so far to have an easy time this weekend. Not saying he won't win because I do think he will but if he comes in doing the same old Broner then I think he'll definitely have some issues.

Can't wait to see his chin tested aswell especially with the whole 'mouth hanging open' **** he does.

Unless he shows a new dimension then Maidana is a threat.

I keep going back and forth on this fight,,,

I have been harsh on broner for his lack of D after the rees and pauli fights

but everytime i get hyped on maidana, he lets me down ie khan, alexander

I just dont know who to pick,, I think if the broner that fought demarco shows up, i like broner, but if its the idiot that fought pauli, i like maidana...

Deep down i think broner takes a decision, but im probably completely wrong

Im not totally sold on maidana's power,, yes he has good pop, but he didnt finish khan, or alexander

The only time maidana looks like a big puncher is when he is in some wild fight with lopez or soto karass, but anytime faced with a guy not willing to slug it out "mexican" style, maidana has a hard time

Not saying broner has the ability or chin to withstand maidana's assault, just stating an observation about maidana,, he doesnt look his best when facing skilled fighters

I agree he can be outboxed by a skilled fighter and his power doesnt look great when he cant get to his opponent. Hoever this might be a bit different since I dont think Broner will be moving around the ring like Alexander and he was very close to getting Khan out of there. Broner is skilled but in a different way than the fighters you mentioned who have beaten him in the past (alexander and khan)

That's true because DeMarco has stopped all but 3 fighters that he's beaten. And most were at least 140, with a last few being 147.

I had the same fear for Danny Garcia against Matthysse and I was surprised by his ability to move in that fight. Have a feeling we might see the same from Broner.
