It's too devastating for them. I'm loving it! Danny haunts them like a ghost.

I give Garcia credit for the win, however I do feel like Tony Weeks let over 25 low blows slide. I mean Garcia was intentionally fouling.

I admit I called this one wrong. I'm sorry but I don't give Garcia full respect for this win.

I've never seen a fighter get away with so many low blows in all my life. 6 warnings before a point and countless he got away with!

All that excessive clinching and he low-blowed Lucas too death. He was purposely doing it and purposely hitting Lucas on the thighs.

I'm more disappointed with Lucas than anything. I just can't believe he didn't stop the guy. I'm not convinced this guys better than him in anyway, shape or form.

        Interesting angle.

Still think Lucas breaks him in half in the rematch.
he lost the fight before the KD, its just put the last nail in his coffin.

as for the low blows you are blowing things way out of proportion, especially considering that matthysse broke the rules himself and landed several intentional rabbit punches. thats not only what first hurt peterson before any legal punches but its what made him get into an ill adviced tear up with matthysse leading to his demise.

garcia learned from that and he came prepared, kept his head cool and applied the old "you foul me i'll foul you right back approach". personally i loved it. i also want to mention mares probably landed 10 times as many low blows in his first fight with agbeko, landed more against vic too.

there wasnt any excessive clinching at all so i dont really know how where you got that from to begin with and matthysse certainly isnt better than garcia. if anything i think garcia stops him in a rematch, lucas is really just a tough guy with good fundamentals and tremendous power.

garcia is just as tough and fundamentally sound and while he doesnt have quite lucas' power he is a much smarter and more well rounded fighter. a rematch doesnt have to happen, but i hope it does.

Danny won fair and square, it wasn't a wipeout but it was one of those situations where it just wasn't Matty's night just his misfortune of a shot landing in the right place early enough to swell his eye, the bs kd, when he did hurt Danny later in the fight the ref halted the action for an out mouth piece or something.

Who knows how a rematch plays out.

I saw a clear win by Garcia. Never heard Lucas complain of the loss of the knockdown. Garcia took Lucas big punches. Lucas did hold also and hit and pulled down Garcia in the back of the head.

Garcia did not win because he was hittling Lucas low or was holding on.

This sounds like the Khan fans saying the same thing that in a rematch Garcia will lose

Garcia beat him fair and square, Remember you guys thought if Matthysse just shook Garcia's hand it would be a KO but Danny took the best Matthysse shots and gave even better, he didnt run he stood his ground and literally BROKE Matthysse's FACE (his orbital bone). If Matthysse power doesnt work he's got nothing. Stop with all of the if's and MAN UP, HE LOST AND YOU GOT YOUR HEART BROKE and youre in such denial that you still cant believe that YOU DONT KNOW **** ABOUT BOXING

I wouldn't mind the rematch but I'd rather Garcia move on.

Thought he won the fight pretty convincingly.

Do any of you believe that the fighter you supported going into a fight has EVER legitimately LOST? PAC MAN WAS OUT FOR DAYS AND STILL HIS FANS DONT BELIEVE HE REALLY LOST TO JMM....I told you guys all of the matthysse fans were just Pac bandwagoneers who left him while he was ko'd, and was looking for their next great Floyd hope.

I say this to you today and I really believe it and its true, that since Ali, there hasn’t been a better fighter, better boxer than Floyd Mayweather. This young man has the teqhnique and the ability which puts him in my book ahead of such greats as Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler and all the other great fighters that I’ve seen in my career. And there is NOBODY that combines all the skills of Floyd mayweather.

I remember hyping this fight up telling all my friends it was gonna be a war lol but then Garcia boxed and slowed up the action which I cant blame him for, was a very close fight and the knockdown was bs but like many I expected much more action but Garcia shows u something new every fight
