Lucas vs Garcia 2 needs too happen!

That bull**** knockdown cost Lucas the fight.

I admit I called this one wrong. I'm sorry but I don't give Garcia full respect for this win.

I've never seen a fighter get away with so many low blows in all my life. 6 warnings before a point and countless he got away with!

All that excessive clinching and he low-blowed Lucas too death. He was purposely doing it and purposely hitting Lucas on the thighs.

I'm more disappointed with Lucas than anything. I just can't believe he didn't stop the guy. I'm not convinced this guys better than him in anyway, shape or form.

    Interesting angle.

Still think Lucas breaks him in half in the rematch.

He was tangled in the ropes when Garcia put him down. Doesn't Weeks have to halt the action when a fighter is tangled in the ropes?

Garcia doesn't want to move up yet anyway, I hope a rematch happens at some point. Just no Tony Weeks this time.

Talk about all sorts of butt hurt. Since when the does THE CHAMP have to give the CHALLENGER a rematch, when the result was NOT IN QUESTION?

I agree. I give Garcia props for somehow making it out of a that fight but I truly believe it just wasn't Matthysse's night. Plus the low blows, swollen eye, etc etc. It just wasn't his night. I still think Matthysse would KO him in a rematch.

Your eye swells when it gets hit enough. Garcia took all of Lucas' best shots. The low blows were not intentional and happened because Lucas kept pushing him down lol.

Garcia Won, Let it be. Let Matthysse rematch Peterson for his belt or Ruslan something then get a redemption shot

matthyse is comtemplating retirement. He would`get beaten more soundly in a rematch since he has felt garcia`s power.

I too want to see a rematch but not right now. What for? It was a clear cut garcia victory. Let matthyse win a few fights.

Maybe............JUST MAYBE.......it swelled up because Danny was punching him a lot in the face. Idk.......

Danny put a serious beating on him and deserves to go on to other fights

and the people who still doubt Garcia, sour g****s

There is no need for a rematch. Garcia won clearly. I'd rather see garcia fight broner or someone else. Let matthysse earn a another shot by winning his tuneup then beating another top jww.

I don't mind a rematch, watching some of that...it surprises me that people on here would compare Matthysse's skills to Golovkin's, Matthysse needs to stop loading up and be content with solely landing, he's heavy handed enough to where he can simply tap his opponents and be effective. If that doesn't change Garcia will read his offense again and pick him apart. Matthysse telegraphs his punches, I said this a long time ago and you can see it even more from this angle.
