Pacquiao is a puppet. Both in boxing and politics ... I'd honestly be shocked if he could read or write at a (American) high school level.

There is no doubt some truth to this. But his ability to read and write do not necessarily affect his ability to reason. May intelligent people are illiterate. It is a shame....and its where we are heading in this country. Ask yourself this question: we have kids decoding language earlier than they should in preschool because of federal mandates....you look at the work kids bring home from school and it is nonsense...so what would you rather have? an illiterate, very parochially educated guy who is smart as **** or, a moron who cannot reason to save Socate's ass but went to college?
