GG was getting Battered by a 154 lber in rosado who he couldn't even drop lol and Was getting rocked around the ring by a midget in Stevens. He hasn't even fought anyone relevant for me to make fun of him for lol

But that's Glen Johnson, a former 175 titlist. Glen Johnson beat very good fighters and fought with the best of his era.

Golovkin has fought with some of the worst fighters at 160, and he doesn't even keep his hands up like Glen Johnson. Johnson keeps his hands way up and has a very awkward, highly active style.

Sorry but are you saying Golovkin was 2 years old when he fought Ouma or Stevens? Or that the Ouma was 15 years ago?

Newsflash, the Ouma fight is highly relevant, considering it was as recent as June 2011.

The Stevens fight just happened November 2.

I can see how a young fighter may have changed something in his game within 5-7 years or more after a defeat. 2 years ago isn't long enough, and in the case of 31 year old Golovkin with 340 amateur fights, I don't think you can teach an old dog new tricks. He isn't a Hopkins level fighter.

                  When did Johnson stun Froch?

And Johnskn had his moments but it was hardly competitive.

Johnson used that shell more so because he didn't have the legs to stick to him, which Golovkin does. That fight still shone a light on Froch's inability to fight inside because Froch never opted to stay close, have a closer view on the openings and work around Johnson's guard. He was force to fight behind a stick and be ineffective entirely, granted enough to win but still.

This style works great against fringe contenders. But people just don't realize first of all the difference between fighting at 160 and 168, fighting guys who are basically Cruiserweights at 168 as opposed to guys in the 168-175s on fight night at MW.

Do you remember the Super 6 and how there was only 1 or 2 KO's? Green and Taylor. That's it. Cause once you're fighting the top guys, say good bye to your power and show me some skills, cause they can and will take your power at 168. These guys are weighing 185lbs on fight night and already have granite chins and strong punches to boost. Nothing in Golovkin's skills show me that he has the skills to compensate when push comes to shove and fighters are right in front of him laughing at his punches what is he going to do? He was able to overpower Ouma and Stevens but do people really believe he will do the same to Froch and Kessler, or Ward? No way. Not even to Murray when the fight happens.

Fair enough, I guess we will just have to see. And for the record I have GGG/Froch as a 50/50 fight I actually might even lean a little bit towards froch, but if GGG were to KO froch I would be amazed.
