Even the biggest supporters of Triple G should agree that Ward should be favored.

Now Froch is just a great fight. I think it's 50/50. But you can make a great case for Carl.

Now I think Golovkin beats everyone at 160. But we'll never know unless a name steps up. I wish Murray, Barker, Sturm and Martinez shared your skepticism Kev.
Yeah, big GGG fan , but it's rare to see anyone saying that he beats Ward at this point. GGG - Froch is the fight that seems likely to be the big test of where Golovkin's at. It seems apparent that GGG beats anyone at 160 (less a rejuvenated Sergio appears, and even then I think GGG breaks him down) but Froch is rightly considered the second best SMW in the world and the styles mesh beautifully - has all the ingredients for a great fight.

(FWIW Hearn's said the rumours are HBO are a little reluctant, and Sanchez has said Froch is one of the few guys he sees going 12 rounds with Golovkin - still I live in hope - one of the very best fights that could be made)

I mean sure, yeah, "He stopped 'em doe". That's the least he could have done after absorbing 39% of Stevens power punches, and who knows how many of Ouma's straight lefts.
Look at Stevens punch output. He was tagging due to the element of surprise more than anything. Remember the Clottey/Pacquiao fight? Same thing. Clottey was so inactive, that when he did throw a shot it would land.

He says both Murray and Macklin had passed. He promotes neither guy but he's UK's #1 promoter and likely not talking out of his a$$. Macklin confirmed it himself.

You can do this with any fighter take a bad night and then say 'how can you think he could beat so and so' I could take martinez v margarito or murray and say how can you think this guy could beat GGG? etc

Through this last year opponents have landed on average 11 punches per round on GGG ... NSB conclusion ... 'GGG got no defense' ... lol this place is laughable at times.

Plus who is saying he beats ward anyway? Like two immense nuthuggers or something? I give him a very good shot against all the other names you mentioned (and have him beating anyone at 160) but ward beats him imo.

yeah Maravilla been looking like bad money lately while Triple G been looking more and more like good money....but tbh I think Maravilla been fighting tougher opponents so I see the good point TS is making

I am one of those who strongly believes he would beat EVERY 160 pounder on the planet.....but I don't think he beats Froch...nah!!!.....Ward discourages and dismantle him imo....I would favor Kessler over him as well....but dudes like Abraham and Stieglitz get beat by the G monster imo

Not interested in Abraham, but I'd like to see Stieglitz v Golovkin, that would be a fun fight. I don't think Golovkin is moving up. Maybe he will to face Froch but I doubt it.
