This is all some fans have left, a fantasy fight when sergio was "100%"

Proksa, a southpaw like Martinez, got through a lot with a lot of flush punches against Golovkin in rounds 2 and 3.

I favour Golovkin 60-40 but it's perhaps not as straightforward as it may appear, Sergio is fast.

The Ring rankings(who ranks contenders and beltholders and lineal champions) and several world organizations had those guys ranked in the top ten.

Your eyes must be sore cause GGG has beat no one of note besides Macklin who Martinez already stopped. The eye test is the worst Gauge. You know how many prospects get exposed as soon as they fight some one with a pulse or someone who punchs back. Especially exposed by the ones who are high in those ****** rankings

Unless GGG is too green, I pick GGG to dominate Martinez

I like Sergio and a few years ago he brought elite speed to the table....however, some pro-Serg guys are a little ridiculous.

barker macklin pavlik Chavez all hit Serg w/more than 40% of their power punches and 3 of them sent him to the deck. GGGs offense is more dynamic than any of them.

I'd expect a good competitive fight where Serg shows moments of brilliance, but eventually gets tagged and stopped

Prime Sergio vs. current GGG is still a 50/50 fight, slight edge to GGG.

What did he do against Chavez Jr's pressure? He fought back, and stayed in the pocket. I see no difference with a GGG fight.

It's in his nature to fight back when his back is against the wall.

And that's why I'd favor GGG in this fantasy fight.

And smarter then them, by a pretty good margin.

Agreed. Wouldn't be surprised if Martinez stops him.

I think Sergio is completely done. His body just can't take it. He can't commit to punches as his hands break, his knees fall to bits.

Prime/healthy Sergio is all kinds of wrong for GGG and would put on a clinic.
No doubt in my mind what so ever that Sergio running at 70% embarrasses GGG, frustrates him and makes him look lost.

He would jab him to death & dance around him all night. Toy with him.

In all those fights Sergio was badly injured even injured/unhealthy going into the fights and suffered adversity. Its makes me laugh how easily people forget what a fantastic boxer Sergio was. The heart he showed in some of those fights was unreal.

Breaks his hand, blows his knee out, cut & busted up, on the deck and still the man gets up and obliterates a full blown cruiserweight.
Please do let me know when GGG shows anything anywhere near as sensational as that.

You can say Barker is a bum, Pavlik a drunk, this and that but most of those guys was undefeated, top 10 middleweights. Hell Barker has gone onto be a world champion & has a win over Geale which well is worth more than GGGs entire damn resume.
Funny how GGG gets so much credit for fighting 154lb journeyman most of which have half a dozen losses.
GGG isn't fit to lace Sergio's boots, never will be either.
