  • Unless he is completely shot next year, I pick Martinez to dominate GGG

Martinez's style is all wrong for GGG, who is a strong solid fighter but brings nothing to the table that Martinez has not seen.

GGG wont be the strongest fighter he ever fought, Chavez was huge and a crusierweight fight night. He may not even be the hardest hitter he may face considering Pavlik has an 80%+ ko percentage against stiffer competition than GGG.

If he comes back in good shape and fully rehabbed I can see Martinez stopping GGG late on cuts or an accumulation of punishment. A good long rest May benefit Martinez who has been fighting at a high level for a while and fights at a fast pace.

GGG doesnt move his head, has to be set to punch. He does go to the body well and that will help him but Martinez is not a powder puff puncher, should have his movement back, and is tricky.

Sexy Serg is my second favorite fighter but he's definitely not beating GGG

matinez spins around ggg like a farris wheel and outpoints him. as long as they both keep winning the fight will happen!!

who has he beat to make think he can beat Martinez?

Macklin is the highest rated contender he ever beat, Proska is a decent fighter but nothing special and had one decent win against Sebastian Sylvester and has since fell off

He has to proof more to me before I say he can get by Martinez who has been fighting world class middleweights for years.

IMO it has more to do with what Martinez has left, than what GGG has that will determine who wins...most definitely in his prime or 2 years ago against the current GGG he'd make him look foolish

martinez won't even fight golovkin. he'll be retired by the end of next year or so.

if he does, expect him to get stopped.

if lou dibella had your confidence they would put that fight on PPV.

400K ppv buys, which is a ton of money.
