That's a shame.
Must be really frustrating for Golovkin that he can't get the big fights at 160.

He's the mando yet refuses to face the champ and now he's on the same card. They immediately make other plans instead of petitioning the official governing body to enforce the mandatory status. Yeah, someone is lying here and I think I know who it is.

move up. guys like bika, froch, ward, hell even Stieglitz or Abraham would be a good fight to test the waters.
why keep him in a weak division..........i don't want to see him take on another weak opponent in his next fight.

U Think U Know Better Than GGG & Co. What They Need? They Have Plenty at '54 To KO
As he gets older, he has plenty of time to move up, and I'm sure he will. At '54 he destroyed Macklin, Stevens (who came down from '68). GGG still has Canelo, Trout, and Cotto, to destroy making great paydays. Then there's nothing left... Murray already has fear and says 'no way'. Provided he gets thru those big 3, then go up to '60 and take out Sergio Martinez & Julio Chavez, Jr. When you blast thru those top 5 over the next year and a half, then you set up a Super Fight with Andre Ward, provided he's still champion. That's how Legends like Hagler, Leonard, Hearns, Duran, Arguello all did it. GGG could fight Canelo, Trout and Cotto all in '15, Spring of '16 take on Sergio if he's still around, then finish out the year with Chavez and Ward. There is no hurry to move up; there's a lot of great options for Gennady where he's at and a gradual move up to '60 and beyond.
