I agree, if the Barker fight is a "goer" that is the better financial option from Murray's perspective, potentially huge Froch fight after that if he wins. The Golovkin fight will be there.

It's easy for us to say he should fight Golovkin, but he has to think of his future.

On the other hand, if the Barker fight isn't a possiblity, I don't really know what Murray's playing at.

No one rates middleweight, if anything it might be underrated. Super middleweight on the other hand is (as I said) "overrated as ****."

Everyone here is over thinking and pontificating WAY too much. Moving up in weight, do this, do that etc etc etc etc is a moot point. The fight that needs to be made is Martinez vs GGG....period! The fans should be calling (SCREAMING) for that.

so if super middleweight is overrated **** that makes middleweight absolute ****.........no?

                  (by your logic)

Stevenson is good fighter, but Dawson was there for the taking when Stevenson fought him (he wasn't the same guy that beat Hopkins 117-111). Froch should man up and take Stevenson up on his offer, I think Carl ends the night with his face flat on the canvas.

Murray is pu**y. He will want to fight GGG when he's on a decline in his career for a final pay day! He should be honored to fight GGG. Beating him at this point would elevate Murray's career. And Martinez DID beat murray. It was closer than expected, however take under consideration he beat a (36-1) kelly pavlik, Ko'ed a (37-0) Serhiy Dzinziruk, Ko'ed a (39-1) Paul Williams, Ko'ed a (23-0) Darren Barker, destroyed a (28-3) Matthew Macklin, Beat a (46-0) Julio Cesar Chavez Jr for 11 rounds and beat a(25-0) Martin Murray. Their records total to 234 wins with only 5 losses. Those fights take a toll on you. He's older and needs to rest and recover. All tough fighters.
