Am I the only one who doesn't watch promotion leading up to the fight? Nor do I listen to fighters outside of the ring, unless commentating. It seems like you some of you guys are too attached. My favorite sports are Boxing, NBA, NFL, and MMA. Of all the fighters and players I follow. I can't think of one person that I follow outside of the ring, field, court, or cage. It's kinda like when females talk about who's Brad Pitt dating(***** just watch the movie).
You're not alone. I don't pay attention to 24/7, 2days, 360 or any of the extra ****. I just care about the fights.
The posts i see here seem like they know certain fighters personally and hate them with a passion beyond what they do in the ring. Why is this and what is the reason?
Their irrational fanboys are a big part of it. Yourself, for example.
I think there is hatred aimed at certain fighters that is probably due to some sort of discrimination/racism which is obscene and shouldn't be tolerated but to be honest, there are a few fighters out there who, due to their comments outside of the ring coupled with their fighting style and choice of opponents, have created the environment to be vilified and disliked for their arrogance and lack of respect for the sport and other fighters.
completely irrational hatred of boxers is almost always based on race, nationality, and geography.
My homie NE is right again. It's either latent or blatant racism, religious bigotry, or nationalism. All coming from a foundation of ignorance and female like sensitivity.
Ppl hate Floyd because he is ****y, arrogant, carefully chooses his fights, and also because of the stuff outside the ring like his excuses y not to fight fighters, and when he finally goes in to the ring alot of times he puts in a boring show.
Broner gets hate because he is so unprofessional in the media and after fights.
I dislike the fans of fighters much more than the actual fighter. Most fighters actually seem like good dudes who are trying to earn a living. I wouldn't mind hanging out with broner/mayweather/DG.
