Why do some posters seem to have personal hate towards some fighters?

The posts i see here seem like they know certain fighters personally and hate them with a passion beyond what they do in the ring. Why is this and what is the reason?

because there are a bunch of idiots that call themselves fans, but in reality only root for their own ethnic/race group,,,,,

Not saying everyone is like that but about 80-90% it seems only root for guys like themselves...

euros root for wlad, calzaghe, etc
blacks like floyd broner
mexicans like jmm, chavez jr, canelo
ricans like cotto, juanma, danny

True boxing fans dont care what skin color or background the fighter has,, only thing we care about is how he fights,,,

True boxing fan can say "floyd is great, ATG skills, but has carefully selected his opponents" Where an idiot fan will be like "floyd the GOAT" or "floyd is a hype job who cherrypicks everyone"
Same thing happens to manny, oscar, jmm, calzaghe, wlad,, pretty much every top fighter has haters and fanboys,,,
Most idiot fans see things in black and white, whereas true fans of the sport know its alot of shades of grey

take GGG for example,,, Some will call him a face first power puncher with no skills,,, others say he is the p4p best fighter in the world,,, In reality he is a really good offensive wrecking ball, but hasnt had enough high profile wins to be considered a p4p guy yet he is on his way if he keeps at it,,,

Am I the only one who doesn't watch promotion leading up to the fight? Nor do I listen to fighters outside of the ring, unless commentating. It seems like you some of you guys are too attached. My favorite sports are Boxing, NBA, NFL, and MMA. Of all the fighters and players I follow. I can't think of one person that I follow outside of the ring, field, court, or cage. It's kinda like when females talk about who's Brad Pitt dating(***** just watch the movie).

I think its like hockey or football or any other sport, your favorite team (fighter) has rivals so fans dislike the rivals as well. Some people take it way too far especially on internet forums trying to get other posters upset.
