Why do some posters seem to have personal hate towards some fighters?

The posts i see here seem like they know certain fighters personally and hate them with a passion beyond what they do in the ring. Why is this and what is the reason?

The word hate gets thrown around as much as "expose" and "duck." Unless a fighter has done something to you PERSONALLY there's no reason to "hate" them. "Dislike" or "dislike with a passion" sounds much better.

Some fighters deserve it. Like Floyd Mayweather and Adrien Broner.

                to answer your question, TS:

completely irrational hatred of boxers is almost always based on race, nationality, and geography.

Mostly its Because they are fans of someone else and the guy they are hating on is a threat.

I only "hate" a couple guys but for obvious reasons such as being royal douchebags, i.e Broner.
