From what I have seen from sergio recently and with the terrible run of injuries and his age, I would lean towards GGG. With that being said, Sergio is a superb fighter and a win for him wouldnt come as too big a surprise.

GGG would start doing what Chavez Jr did to Martinez in round 12 in round 1. Sergio wouldn't see the 6th.

Not surprised. One guy looked like a killer less than 24 hours ago while the other looked sluggish and aged a few months ago.

I pick GGG today but I know 100% sure that this fight isn't happening next. Both guys will have interim fights. If Sergio looks 80% of himself in his next fight I will not pick against him. I've learned my lesson before and I won't do it again.

Miguel Cotto will come to fight and will be a good test for Sergio coming off of the layoff. That's why I haven't voted in the poll yet.

At this point in time it's a toss-up fight that depends much more on Martinez's physical condition than it does on anything Golovkin brings to the table.

I'm on record years ago predicting a Martinez schooling of Golovkin, but that was prior to his run of injuries, which have obviously taken something out of him. If he's able to rebound and get back into proper condition without incident I think Martinez still has an edge over Golovkin due to his advantages in terms of experience, handspeed, and foorwork.

If not he gets busted up...badly.

the martinez of a few years ago would have given him hell but as it stands now I think GGG would beat him up and stop him in a rather one sided affair

edit to say that if Sergio looks like the old sergio in his next fight then I might have to think again but as it stands going by their last performances GGG all the way

He couldn't "murder" Stevens inside 7 but he'll "murder" Martinez?

Both guys are overrated but Martinez wins by UD.

Danny defied odds for his belts. Sergio barely survived cherrypicks.
