If Sergio is back to full health I could see him stopping GGG down the stretch as Golovkin tires. Maybe a 116-112 type decision where Sergio gives up some of the middle rounds and GGG occasionally lands some dangerous shots. People are then gonna say GGG was a hypejob and give Sergio no credit for the win.

The way Rosado was able to box with Golovkin for the first 7 rounds before it was stopped on cuts makes me believe that Sergio (a much better smarter boxer and mover) can take him into the deep waters.

Prime for prime I'd take Sergio by ud. Too quick and awkward. But Sergio hasn't been healthy for years and the long layoff won't do him any favors. He has been showing serious signs of slipping and much like Roy Jones once his athleticism and reflexes start to go its over. If forced to bet today I think GGG stops Sergio.

There's a reason why Martinez don't want this fight and is ducking.

          1) he wants to cash out
          2) he knows this is the toughest fight or there for him

Can't see it. Current Sergio is on the decline and without his movement, reflexes, GGG will wear him down and cut the ring down leaving Sergio no where to go.

There is always a chance Sergio lands the punch that KO'd Williams..

Sergio was so vocal when it came to the Chavez fight but with Golovkin on the scene now you don't even see him in public anymore. Sergio he is right here, please guy.

Martinez is thrilled to possibly get a chance to fight the much smaller Cotto at 160 even though Cotto has never defeated anyone at 160. If Martinez KOs Cotto like I think he will if that fight happens then his next fight will again not be against GGG. Martinez has no intention of fighting GGG ever. It is up to fight fans who they want to recognize as the real middleweight champion of the world. Some fans may choose Martinez because he is the lineal champ. I thought of him as the real champ for a while but he has not fought the very best for a long time. GGG is my world champion and he will fight any fighter willing to fight him.
You believe Quillen and Golovkin are fighting real middleweights? Both men fought Rosado, a man who spent much of his career a division below. No one in the division currently has the list of achievements or legitimate opponents to rival Martinez.

Yes, that is the question, is Martinez still primed or close enough to his best to beat Golovkin. If Martinez shows up looking physically as bad as he did against Murray, he WILL get beaten by a pumped up, hungry Golovkin.

What we must remember is that Chavez was made WBC champion and Martinez given a rather ridiculous "Diamond" belt and then Chavez started to bad mouth Martinez. None of that has happened with Golovkin, plus, even before the Chavez fight was made, Martinez was calling out Mayweather, Pacquiao and Cotto, he always has, no one brings the money they do. Chavez himself carried more weight as a name then Golovkin currently does, if Golovkin were to beat Murray, Barker or Quillin, then Martinez, if the Cotto fight wasn ot made, would start calling Golovkin too.

I personally believe Martinez has only one or two fights left in him and he wants the biggest paydays possible, which will include a Cotto fight at some point.

Luckily for Sergio he won't be fighting Golovkin in his next fight so he won't have to settle it
