The GGG hate is outstanding

I'm just pointing out the holes I see.

I think Golovkin's defense is much better when he's coming forward, he doesn't look natural to me going back or comfortable and seems to get hit too much when he does, for my liking.

I think he's a little too upright and stiff at times.

In regards to the numbers, Stevens really just didn't let his hands go, if he did he's have landed more and likely got knocked out much much sooner, which is understandable.

Whenever he threw combinations he landed combinations. He isn't the easiest guy to hit but from what I can see he isn't very hard to hit either.

There were a couple occasions where Stevens landed two or three very good power punches and Golovkin didn't even try to move his head especially at the end of the 4th or 5th although it was kind of nice to see how well he took them. Gennady may have the occasional lapse but in general he is quite difficult to hit clean keeping his chin tucked, dictates range, deflects punches with his shoulder, rolls blocks and parries quite well. A multi-faceted competent defense most of the time in my eyes.

I'm not saying he's defenceless, he definitely has a defence.

I just see holes, it's not something I'd consider to be a strength of his. Especially going backward.

Golovkin outlanded Stevns 293-93 and won almost every round, got his chin checked.... And he had a bad fight? Jeez some people are ridiculous here .. All you keyboard warriors are ignoring the fact that Stevens, and rosado.... Both when they felt the power of Golovkin, went into survival mode to merely try and survive! They never fight like that In any other fights so that right there tell you something about the respect people who, you know, step in the ring with Golovkin, have for him. Hell Stevens was even criticizing Macklin for trying to survive , and he dd the same thing !

I would like to say that I blame all these GGG is a god fan boys for the hate he gets. Bottomline Gena's an amazing fighter who's ring IQ is impressive, hence his selection of punches. His defense is underrated, not saying ATG. His footwork is great just subtle which is why his balance is amazing. He has great power in both hands. He ate stevens best shots. No one was rocked or hurt like others say . He is exciting and his boxing skills are also EXTREMELY underrated. They are subtle with the most minute of adjustments. I assume because its not flashy and he comes forward with pressure people simply label him a brawler. Ever heard simplicity is the greatest form of sophistication? Hes great at what he does. Hes human and not a super hero. Its all these fan boys making it bad for him elevating him up to mythical proportions which in turn makes people hate him. But if you step back and simply judge him for what he is and does AND on top of that hes respectful and humble youve got to like the guy. Hes good for boxing.


In short.. fyck you fan boys. Cats like you make Lomachenko get the same type of hate. If one day they should just so happen to lose it doesnt make them any less of a grear fighter. Its you fan boys who destroy careers.

I agree 100%! Triple G is not invincible NO FIGHTER IS!, for example I believe him vs froch/ward are 50/50 fights...I Might even lean towards ward if it were to ever happen. But we all know the REAL reason why certain folks hate on triple G.

Hate is a form of flattery. Sure, some guys like Mayweather and Broner are hated on because of their personalities; but even they wouldn't get noticed if they weren't actually good.

GGG is about the same height as Abraham, but not as solidly built

People forget easily, but Abraham was considered a real beast, he was favourite to win the super 6, and most thought he would knock froch out, and he got manhandled in that fight and looked so small in there, Abrahams excuse.... "he was just so much bigger than me"

I can envision a similar situation with Golovkin

GGG has far better skills then Abraham lol.
