Why do you think he should not move down? Canelo, Lara, Trout, Mayweather, Cotto... it's a good division to clean out if he can get the fights.

Moving down in weight has proven to be a bad move time and time again. While some fighters have had success, its been disastrous for others and there's no way to tell how your body will react until you try it.

For every golovkin fan boy, there is an equal golovkin hater saying things just as ******. This site was flooded and is still flooded with racist alts against gololvkin. At this point it seems there are more golovkin haters in full steam hating in every thread than golovkin fans celebrating his victory. This is very odd since golovkin is one of the nicest guys around, fights his heart out and looks for the KO every time out

Yes there is alot of hating and nutriding on ggg,,,,

i think the level-headed fans realize that ggg is fun to watch, has great skills, great punching power, but he does have some defense issues when going backwards,, I dont think that is hating,

Critiquing his skill set while still acknowledging that he beats everybody at 160 isn't hating. Its called boxing discussion. Just like people critique Broner, Wilder, Russell Jr., Alexander, Bradley, Berto or whoever else. The only "haters" you speak of are Stax on Deck and his 25 alts saying he is "an unskilled face first brawler hypejob" who probably isn't even a Broner fan to begin with.

GGG hype is insane - "he'll knock out Ward" "he'll knock out Froch" "he''ll knockout Mayweather" is what I'm seeing a lot of in here and on Youtube except Youtubers throw around the n-word on every GGG fight video that has over 15 comments .
I've heard the boxing media say that he is the greatest middleweight since Sugar Ray Robinson .

The hype has surpassed that of Lucian Bute hype by 15-20 times so you should expect to have a reflection to that hype with logic.

GGG just handled a low tier ESPN fighter pretty well but the future has yet to be seen.

It's like if you don't say Golovkin is flawless then you "hate" him.

I've said that Golovkin would beat everyone at 160 outside of maybe Martinez. That's he's very difficult to beat and one of the hardest punchers in the sport.

The fact he showed a few weaknesses and I've highlighted them, that's describing as me hating the guy

He's a good fighter but i'm not sold on him being elite yet.

His fights with Rosado, and Stevens have shown that he doesn't always blast out his opponents, even if they are small middleweights.

IT seems he will move up to 168 at some point, and that is a huge jump in terms of size and strength of opponents, if you think the likes of Ward/Froch/Kessler are anything like the guys he has been fighting, you are sorely mistaken as ALL of his opponents would be demolished in brutal fashion by all of those guys.

We need to see if his power and skill will be enough when he starts taking on Bigger, stronger, and higher level fighters than the C/D levellers he's clubbing out now.

Maybe they will, but i'm on the wait-and-see side of things

Fighters usually move up when they are growing, GGG is already a full grown man, I don't think he is going to get any bigger or have any problems making 160 any time soon.
