They gave it brief mention during the credits of this documentary. For obvious reasons, it didn't matter at all.

        I SAID:

There were prime elites namely Duran Leonard Hearns and Benitez that fought each other, add Hagler in there.

Those guys built their legacys fighting each other not ducking each other.

JR needs to fight threats to have a legacy worth reading about, he don't need the legacy that reads that he ducked all the major threats.

JR needs Pac in our times today NOT duck him like he has for the past 4 years.

Is that hard to understand ???????
Oh i can read and i see you some how think the no mas fight relates to floyd and pac. Oh sorry you just took shots at floyd in a topic that has nothing to do woth either of them

fact #1: duran was no coward. he proved his toughness time and time again. he wasn't even getting beat up by leonard.

fact #2: watch his fights with the viruet's. one of them (i forget which one) taunted him and ran WAY more than leonard did. lou bizzarro ran for his life for 14 rounds. he would not quit simply out of frustration.

why is it so hard to believe that he ate too much and had the ****s? it's widely reported that he was ****tin in the dressing room after the fight. you think duran was going to **** on himself in the ring with those white shorts on? lol. same thing happened with andrew lewis. ran out the ring cause he had to ****.

seriously, what could be more embarrassing for the most macho fighter in the sport than ****ting on yourself in front of the world and then having to fight another 8 rounds with it all over you? it makes more sense than anything else.

lol hypocrites in this thread.... in the current landscape of boxing where boxers are vilified for quitting after sustaining an injury like a broken jaw.

Duran was a beast, but he quit. Stop making excuses. SRL fought Duran toe to toe in their first fight and lost. He fought his own fight in the 2nd fight and Duran quit. See the difference? Yeah Duran is a bonafide ATG and warrior, but he wasn't that night. Hence he was shunned by a lot of Latin fans and fans in general after the fight.
