You must have re-read your post and realized the blatant excuses you were coming up with .......
I don't need to prove anything budd as you just went that route because you got all defensive about your hero Floyd, I understand ....Comment

At least you were more honest than the Gambler ....Floyd gets alot of **** every where so i dont really see your point. Floyd is the man and has been for 10 years plus. Ive never thought fighters ducked eachother. Paul called out everyone because he is desperate for that big fight but his name wasnt big enough. he didnt beat that many good people to be really involved in the talks of floyd.
a few more impressive wins for paul he could of made a case. Did he have tools to beat floyd? maybe but oh well he should of beat more people. The risk was to high for such a little reward for anyone who was on top.
Yes, Williams was too much risk but Floyd is OK to fight those kind of opponents that are not high reward money wise when they have little chance. Example, Guerrero.
Floyd wouldn't even take high money reward to fight guys like Manny because they were spooked at what he did to fighters such as Cotto, .....Comment

Not at all, I just read your response and realized you had no clue what was going on or what you were talking about.
No good reason to talk with someone like that, life is too short to waste time on someone like you.Comment

Floyd fans like you love them excuses ...... you were getting buried in them and saw that you had no way out. I get it .....
You still going that route (boxing knowledge) without any true facts or good logic to back you up. That is expected of some Floyd fans so again, not surprised there either.
About a month ago, in discussing Floyd and Margarito someone said what you said then later I realized that he really didn't know what he was talking about. It was even more laughable because a few days later I saw him making a thread to find out what really happened .... that was some funny stuff.
Again, your logic applies for one fight but not another (potential) fight. If you know math, logic/theory has rules. If you don't pass all rules then the theory is debunked and deemed invalid!Last edited by ADP02; 10-11-2013, 06:46 PM.Comment

You seriously want me to make a fool of you this bad?Floyd fans like you love them excuses ...... you were getting buried in them and saw that you had no way out. I get it .....

If you are so knowledgeable it shouldn't have taken time for you to realize someone didn't know what they were talking about they should have just saw it like I did with you.
Judah was a former champ not a belt holder, so right there him and Williams are different and when you are talking about William he had exactly 1 good win then lost, Judah had a pretty solid career and even after the Judah-Baldomir fight a lot of people though he could trouble Floyd. Since you are so old and knowledgeable you should know that about Judah
Plus you said Judah was worthless after he lost, so that logic must apply to Williams so why are you even in a thread talking about Williams.
You are going on about what Floyd says, what Floyd says is garbage why you listen to a word that comes from him or his fathers mouth is totally beyond me since you are so old and wise you should get that but for some reason you hang on every word he says.
I don't give a flying fuck what you think about Floyd because I don't give a flying fuck about what you say about boxing in general, all you do is spew garbage takes and spin. As for me talking about Floyd at least I like the topic I talk about I am not in all sorts of threads talking about stuff I can't stand. If you have a problem look in the mirror because everything you are saying applies to you more than me.Comment

This argument is lame, how tall was Paul Williams again? about 6' 1" or 6' 2" with freakishly long reach. Manny is 5'6" Floyd is 5'8" judah is about the same. All the top welterweights at the time were way shorter than Paul, he could literally hold their heads with one hand while punching the **** out of them with the other hand while they wouldn't be able to touch him. Margarito was a taller welterweight about 5'10" or 5'11"and he didnt take the rematch, maybe for the same reason. Thats a fight Floyd would definitely not had taken, just too risky, the reach is just too much and you know Floyd only fights when he knows he has a clear advantage over his opponents. Only Sergio who is about 5'10" decided to take this fight which definitely put him on the map. Again this is a lame post lol.Comment

As I understand it, Margarito wanted the rematch right away, Williams wanted a different fight for more money, then of course wound up settling for Quintana and lost. After that, Williams wanted the rematch with Margarito, and Margarito decided to go on to bigger and things.
So, if that's true, they "ducked" each other at different times.Last edited by Derranged; 10-11-2013, 08:17 PM.Comment

I don't recall the Margarito ever wanting a rematch, although he probably was open to the idea but Arum wanted none of that messing up his plans again. As I understand it, Margarito wanted the rematch right away, Williams wanted a different fight for more money, then of course wound up settling for Quintana and lost. That Quintana loss was terrible for him though, he was able to make it back but that cost him like all of 08 just to gain back the ground he lost that night.Comment
