bingo....What's even funnier is that instead of p.will they wanted clottey or judah at ww. The same Judah that people give Mayweather grief about.

Margarito is a blatant ducker and cherry picker

What is worse about that situation for Margarito is that it is not like Williams was some weird stylistic issue or a guy that out boxed him. He straight up beat Margarito at his own game and Margarito had no desire to run it back.

Cotto was one fighter that he should have fought him on the WBO belt but he didn't really want to under Arum, Arum didn't want Margarito to fight Williams neither.

Floyd gets heat cos he claims that there's no blueprint to beat him but he has never fight someone like Paul Williams who is tall, long reach, has high workrate and has decent power. Plus Paul is a southpaw.

Im not saying Paul will definitely defeat Floyd but he sure as hell give him a tough fight.

If everyone was ducking Paul Williams, why didn't Floyd fight him if he believe he is truly unbeatable but chose to 'retire'.

Oh yeah, on paper Williams is all wrong for every WW in the world but he didn't fight to his advantages. He ****** and threw 1000s of punches in every fight. He beat Margarito just by outworking him at his own game. Then Margarito ducked and covered

Yes a lot of fighters were avoiding Williams but sorry they all fought each other and some of those supposed "avoiders" fought other fights that made up for this one.

Still, there were fighters who were willing and have stepped up to the plate. Floyd calls himself the best but when it comes to fighting a risky fight, him and his team gets squeamish.

"If Manny wobbles my Floyd, I'm stopping the fight and checking out what's going on"

"How can someone go up all these divisions and whoop them bigger fighters?"

Threat of one, but Margarito just could have dropped his belt to get out of that.

The last two have nothing to do with this thread, and I don't give a shit what Floyd Sr. has to say he says a lot of things. Sr. is not Jr.

Williams lost in February 2008 to Quintana and then beat him in June. If he beat Quintana in that first fight you might have a point but no one wanted to see Williams in with Floyd after going 1-1 with a guy like Quintana.

The only guy that needed to fight him at that point was Margarito because he needed to clear up that business and prove Williams was not the better man, he chose to step.

Do yourself a favor and don't talk to me though because I have forgotten more about boxing than you will ever know~

honestly I think Paul Williams was made into something that he wasn't. He had physical attributes that could be a bad match up for anyone, however he never utilized his height and reach. All he did was plod forward and throw punches. Did you see what Lara did to him? That was a career destroying performance by Lara. I never seen someone take so many full power shots without getting dropped.

Paul Williams being ducked or avoided is the biggest myth ever.
