"1-2, 1-2, 1-1-2"....all night long. That's before the heavy multi-punch combinations start coming. If you are offensive against Martinez and you are slow.........you are taking a beating in one way or another.

if martinez' people had your confidence they would have taken the fight already.

What I'm trying to say is, Murray took those 1-2s with his guard up, got close and nailed Martinez. I'd venture Golovkin is better at cutting off the ring than Murray.

Not writing Martinez off, especially if his movement is 100% but I favour Golovkin 65-35 in that one.

Had they fought at MSG, for instance or another indoor arena, Murray gets phuked up.

He's not that good of a counter puncher, he's more proactive than reactive which suits GGG better.

                Likely.

                Both apply.

Golovkin didn't look bad overall but he definitely looked bad in parts.

And I'm sure everyone knows Stevens isn't very good.

He beat Stevens so what~ a fringe guy and he didn't look overly impressive. Now it is only one fight so making too much a big deal over a win is not very wise but one should always look at both the positives and the negatives. There are guys much better than Stevens out there and it doesn't take that much to go from winning a fight like that to getting crushed.
                    Dude really stfu please!

Chris Mannix@ChrisMannixSI 3m Stopped in Golovkin's locker room. Asked if he thought Stevens was a big puncher. "He's not very powerful."
