Golovkin didn't look bad overall but he definitely looked bad in parts.

And I'm sure everyone knows Stevens isn't very good.
He looked bad going backwards. I favoured Ward over him pre-fight, but I'm more certain of it now as he'll physically lean on and push GG back. I liked Kessler over him too as he has good movement on the backfoot, but I still think Golovkin can get to Froch, he takes too many punches flush and is pretty static.

Froch-Golovkin would be a great action fight.

          Definitely favour Froch though, myself.

only on boxingscene can both apply.

golovkin is the second best middleweight on the planet. i actually think he's the best middleweight on the planet, and that martinez is avoiding him. he stopped macklin in three rounds, to provide a comparison. if stevens did well against him (which you and others are proposing and i don't agree with,) stevens cannot possibly be a bad fighter.

Styles make fights, from one fight to the next different stuff happens.

Stevens is only alright calling him good is a stretch, he isn't a total hack and he has some positive attributes but any dude who gets beat cleanly by Jesse Brinkley isn't good

Of course they can both apply.

Stevens is not very good. I'm sure everyone knows that that has seen his fights.

Golovkin at times didn't look good at all against him.

Perhaps it means that Golovkin isn't as good as some seem to think as opposed to Stevens being good, which he certainly is not.

This was a pretty good fight, and I give major props to Stevenson. He is tough and I think he would give many top middleweights hell. That being said I think this fight might have taken a lot out of him and he might never be the same (some of the body shots he took made me cringe). Still I will be rooting for the little guy if he fights again.

Golovkin's didn't look great tonight but he still beat the crap out of Stevenson, and proved he has a good chin.

Stevens is no Julian Jackson but he can crack. GGG has a good beard.

I thought he took the body shots really well. Maybe you're right though on him not being the same again, e.g. Ouma never fought again.

I thought Stevens showed a lot of heart. He played the villain in the lead up to this fight but if you watch his more serious interviews he's not such a bad guy at all imo. Felt bad for his family in the crowd towards the end.
