This is a guy i wanted wilder to fight for over a year now. Don't be fooled by the 10 losses. He fights on short notice & has fought some good guys. He can take a good punch & he can punch some. This guy is a durable journeyman & a decent fighter. He is 6'6 245-250 & will come right after you. Should give wilder some rounds but after the liakhovich fight you never know. I wanted guinn next but firtha was my next choice... He will step up...

Disappointing opponent. I want to see Wilder vs. Arreola.

That would be a great match-up but Arreola has already made it clear he doesn't want Wilder next and he also fought just a couple of weeks ago. He wouldn't have been interested to fight in November. He's back home and eating now and will be back in the ring next year.

That's exactly it, he wanted the KO record before facing anyone with anything remotely resembling a pulse.

That's why he turned down Chisora. He knew even if he won, he had little chance to blast him out and win by KO/TKO.

Guinn would definitely be a good choice for his next opponent; he can give Wilder the rounds he needs to move on to the next level. If he gets Firtha out of there too quick, they might look at stepping him up to the top 20 level though. If they don't, Guinn, Travis Walker, Pajkic, or Toney might be good choices of opponents.

Pajkic would be good but he won't take fights on short notice. He only moonlights as s fighter now. He's an actor & he turned down an adamek fight. From my understanding he was getting paid more doing a tv series then what was offered. Walker could get laid out in the 1st or he could lay out wilder in one. Both fights id like to see...

How many of you here have actually seen firtha fight? I've seen him fight lots & he is a tough cookie...

I have seen him fight and I watched as Tye Fields brutally knocked him out. So how tough can he possibly be? As far as Wilder's career is concerned even with all the highlight reel type knock outs, his career is nothing short of boring.
