Bro the fact that you brought up Pac tells me you dont have the chops to be in this conversation. He has nothing to do with this other than him contributing to this new era where PPV buys mean more than your opponent. It is to those who do it as their job, no matter how much you pretend it isn't. Pac doesn't actually fight for the people mate. He does it because he gets paid millions of dollars. They wouldn't do it for free. They fight for money. They negotiate to get more and get bigger fights to get more money. Pride is part of it, but it always comes back to money.
If you want the crux of my point, see my example about SRL/Duran 2---if you can comprehend it.Comment

I love how people think Manny is a noble warrior, the guy worked with Nike who have sweatshops in his country, he exploits his own people for money. It is to those who do it as their job, no matter how much you pretend it isn't. So I guess guys like SRl, Duran, Armstrong, etc are "pathetic?" Way to pull down your skirt dude. The thing you fail to realize is Floyd already moved up to face new challenges, he started at 130 and has fought at 152 or above 3 times. I'm a Floyd fan but not a crazy but the idea of a guy smaller than Lamont Peterson and Terrence Crawford having to fight Middleweights is pathetic.
And while FLoyd has moved up and fought at JMW twice, it doesnt mean he fought challenges. Its WHO you fight and WHEN.Comment

No, I answered your post about challenges. You still have yet to show where boxers in the past fought heaviervfighters for challenge. All you've done is label me and purposely misslabel my point because you can't refute it.You are saying its ALL about money which is just ridiculous and nothing but a defense for what you perceive as Floyd bashing. Its transparent and tired.
SRL made 12 million for Duran 2...thats almost 30 million dollars in todays money...but is that what people remember? Your logic would suggest it...but in reality you are wrong. People remember SRL coming back from a loss to beat one of the finest fighters in history.
So we've seen that it can be done. Has Floyd done that? It's not as clear. If his resume was as strong as a SRL, Duran or Hearns, Hopkins you wouldnt need to bring up the money aspect.
I made no point about why people remember fights. What does how people remember fights have to do with the motivation for a fighter to take a fight?
Floyd didn't lose so thats why we don't know if he can comeback from a loss to win. The strength of their resumes in no way changes why they fought professionally.
You still haven't answered the initial question.Comment

I love how you dumb yourself down by assuming this is a Manny v Floyd debate. But then again how could you know better?Comment

Ha tough guy? I consider than greater than Floyd you Manny obsessed loser.Comment

Stop hiding behind that loaded question. I am not talking about motivation, you are trying to hijack the point with that nonsense and I wont bite. No, I answered your post about challenges. The issue is does money define everything? You seem to think so. Reality tells us it doesnt. While they all made choices based on money...Ali, SRL, Duran...hell ANY legend is not remembered for what they made, but what they did in the ring.Comment
