David Haye P4P #1 Boxing fraud

What's to be livid about though? It's not like Haye gains any advantage from a postponement. In fact he'll still have the disadvantage of fighting with a recently healed cut. It's also not like He is going to lose out on money. The Haye fight will bring Fury in MUCH more money than he could get fighting anyone else at this point.Comment

it's a ****ty situation but if it was anybody else people would be like 'damn that's unfortunate' but because it's haye the Eastern European hate train comes out - these guys have no lives ... and the funniest thing of all is if they met haye in real life they'd come over all fan girlie and ask for his autograph ... definition of 'hypocritical loser' right there.Comment

Very true.it's a ****ty situation but if it was anybody else people would be like 'damn that's unfortunate' but because it's haye the Eastern European hate train comes out - these guys have no lives ... and the funniest thing of all is if they met haye in real life they'd come over all fan girlie and ask for his autograph ... definition of 'hypocritical loser' right there.
I told this story a couple of days ago, but I used to write copy for Steve Bunce's boxing hour on BBC Radio. I remember around the start of February of 2012, Dan Rafael was calling Haye all sorts of names on twitter, incl. a b*tch, which first of all is ridiculous considering his fat arse said it, but second of all made me lose all respect for him as a journalist and since have never taken anything he says seriously.
However, I was out for the Chisora-Vitali fight, and standing at the press row I can see Dan Rafael walking around at ringside, talking to Bernd Boente I think it was. David Haye was about to start working for boxnation to comment on the fight etc and saw Dan Rafeal and went up to confront him. And everyone I was with had seen Dan's comments so we all stood by like a bunch of teenage girls, waiting to see what would happen. Anyways, Haye taps Rafael on the shoulder from behind and Dan's face just goes all white. Haha.
He looked like he'd seen a ghost, and started to put his hands on Haye's shoulder and being all smiley etc. He looked like he was about to kiss his feet and take a dump at the same time.
That reminds me a little bit of this situation. Sofa fans should never call a professional fighter a coward or b*itch until they've done what the fighters have done.Comment

lol is Dan Rafael = Weltshit?? This is exactly what would happen to all these 'he's a coward' keyboard warriors only I'd imagine a trouser accident first.Very true.

well, I don't know about their lives, I won't judge on that, and I hope they are doing well.
With that said, I must agree with you, the 'Easter European/German train' is getting out of hand.
According to these faction:
Wladimir is better than Louis and would spark him in 3, only idiots can deny that. Wlad is in fact better than Ali.
GGG would KO -any- fighter from 154 to 168 and everybody is avoiding him.
And of course the old, but still valid " but Vitali was up on the scorecards against Lewis!! , 4-2 man!".
I suppose and hope it'll get better if Eastern Europe produces more solid fighters, as it seems likely, so that people will jump on different "trains".
As for Haye, I'm not a fan of his, but calling him a fraud is ludicrous. He is not fighting often, that might be a fault considering he always stated he wants to retire early.
But at least he's not fighting the Wach and Pianeta's of this world and try to sell'em as "good fights".
He only had 6 fights at HW, and he fought Ruiz, Valuev, Harrison , W. Klitschko and Chisora. These were all ok fights, as is Fury.Comment

I see your point here but don't get me wrong : Haye postponed twice his fight with Klitschko because of a fake injury. What has he done after it? Beat Valuev to win the WBA title and fight after then the big threat that iAudley Harrison is. He cancelled his fight with Manuel Charr, due to a su****ious hand injury. What did happen after it? Oh, a big fight with Fury came on! He then suffers from a cut while sparring hard ONE WEEK before the fight --> the fight is postponed at the moment.Very true.

There ks always something strange happening with Mr. Haye, one or two weeks before the fight. Don't forget that he ducked Vitali Klitschko twice and he might take on a 43 years old boxer to take his title. That's what I call accomplishment.
David Haye might be excellent in the ring but with his dirty brhaviour he will never accomplish something. He knows for a fact that the rest of hos career is seriously threatened by a potential cancellation of the fight.
Let me remind to all of you that Vitali had to endure not less than 8 surgeries, had to retire for 4 years and still came back. That is what I call a true lion's heart!Comment

The problem with Haye is people seem to give him credit for fights he'll never make based on their opinions that he's the 'better figher'. Like he doesn't need to prove himself at the weight or even earn a shot at the Klits because 'he'd beat the others anyway.'
I agree that he probably is the next best heavyweight other than Wlad but I don't think he's entitled to a shot based on the assumption that 'he'd beat those other guys anyway'. He had a go at Wlad and looked pretty awful, he then has to fight his way back into title contention, not get a gift shot again based off assumptions.
It's not given that he'd beat Fury, Pulev, Povetkin, Wilder, Arreola, Stiverne...etc. It's probably likely but not a foregone conclusion like most seem to make out. Fight some of these guys, prove you are the next best heavyweight, earn that label and title shot the right way.
Haye was a top Cruiserweight but has been very disappointing at Heavy IMO....don't even bother with the Valuev performance. Old Holyfield did a much better job and got robbed.Comment

I won't make any excuses for him in terms of those fights. I was as disgusted as anyone with the Klitschko fights being postponed in 2009. The second time around though, he had a legitimate reason, as Setanta went bust and hence he wouldn't get any subscription money as that was all he was getting. I know for a fact he had problems with his back since the amateur days, but I'm not sure if that was a true excuse with Klitschko. My best guess is that Sauerland offered the Valuev fight, and that was the easy option for Haye, he took that, became champion and fought a couple of bums for an insane amount of money - similar to what Rid**** Bowe did all those years ago to avoid LL. OF course, the negotiations was an entirely different issue in 2011 since Haye actually brought more money to the table than Klitschko did. And obviously K2 don't want to give out 50/50 splits to anyone but it was the fair way seeing as both were champions.I see your point here but don't get me wrong : Haye postponed twice his fight with Klitschko because of a fake injury. I was most disappointed with the Charr fight, mainly because I think it was a good fight for him to have. Charr is crap, no doubt about it, but Haye was obviously told about a PPV fight with Fury which would probably triple the amount of money he would get vs Charr. I just think he should have fought Charr first, and then take on Fury. However, that doesn't change the fact that this is a legitimate excuse to postpone the fight. And it will be postponed and hopefully it will go on in December.Comment

Taking easy options doesn'tbmake you a champion. I am getting tired of your very biased opinions. Haye is a waste of talent and time. It 's as simple as that.I won't make any excuses for him in terms of those fights. I was as disgusted as anyone with the Klitschko fights being postponed in 2009.
