He's a good boxer, he has a nice amateur background. But he spends too much time on his looks rather than training and preparation for fights. He doesn't put enough effort into the sport, and that's why you see things like this happen when he pulls out of fights and gets cut 1 week before a fight, because he didn't wear any head gear for some reason.

I told this story a couple of days ago, but I used to write copy for Steve Bunce's boxing hour on BBC Radio. I remember around the start of February of 2012, Dan Rafael was calling Haye all sorts of names on twitter, incl. a b*tch, which first of all is ridiculous considering his fat arse said it, but second of all made me lose all respect for him as a journalist and since have never taken anything he says seriously.

However, I was out for the Chisora-Vitali fight, and standing at the press row I can see Dan Rafael walking around at ringside, talking to Bernd Boente I think it was. David Haye was about to start working for boxnation to comment on the fight etc and saw Dan Rafeal and went up to confront him. And everyone I was with had seen Dan's comments so we all stood by like a bunch of teenage girls, waiting to see what would happen. Anyways, Haye taps Rafael on the shoulder from behind and Dan's face just goes all white. Haha.

He looked like he'd seen a ghost, and started to put his hands on Haye's shoulder and being all smiley etc. He looked like he was about to kiss his feet and take a dump at the same time.

That reminds me a little bit of this situation. Sofa fans should never call a professional fighter a coward or b*itch until they've done what the fighters have done.
        LMAO!

Than I don't ever want to hear a single Klitard call Vittles a champion ever again!

The Klits don't bother me, its their fans I find moronic. Case and point, you answering my question with a question to avoid it.

The irony of this post was too much to not point out, mr "Dr Eisenfaust".

I don't see anything biased about Laced Up's post.. theres no excuses for Haye for all those stunts he pulled in the past, and as a fan of Haye myself, I share the same opinion. It's unfortunate that Haye got this cut, was very unprofessional of him to be putting himself at risk like that so very close to the fight, but it is what it is. I don't think anyone would fight with a cut like that, it's begging for an unnecessary TKO due to cuts.

I see some people are still sore about the Wlad fight, over two years ago. What a sorry sight

What exactly was biased about that opinion? I get that you don't like Haye. I get it - but if you think that post was biased then you don't know shit about what happened and should keep your mouth shut.

I am not talking about his cuts, which I believe is true. Contrary to what that idiot Lacedup says, I like Haye as a fighter. The only thing I am saying is that he looks today ridiculous because of his previous behaviour.
