My best guess is that Sauerland offered the Valuev fight, and that was the easy option for Haye, he took that, became champion and fought a couple of bums for an insane amount of money - similar to what Rid**** Bowe did all those years ago to avoid LL. OF course, the negotiations was an entirely different issue in 2011 since Haye actually brought more money to the table than Klitschko did. And obviously K2 don't want to give out 50/50 splits to anyone but it was the fair way seeing as both were champions. "
