Sorry guys, GGG is no higher than quillin. Just because HBO annoints him doesn't mean a ****in thing.

Sergio/GGG may be in the making. I don't know. But its the only makeable fight between 2 top 5 p4p fighters unless ward and sergio fight. (assuming we dont get floyd jmm 2, which we probably wont given what happened the 1st time)
    Dunn !!!! Think mang think

We Have the greatest middleweight title holder on record to have the great KO percentage in HISTORY !!!!!!

GGG is that man and he should fight Sergio the great and should KO poor old Serg

There's nothing left but a mw strap. He's already a made dudeon the all time rankings list. 40-54 is flat! All those dudes are mismatches. At least with this you have the mystique of him creating more history. GGG or Martinez are winnable but entertaining fighs

GGG is not even a draw yet, casual fans especially in america have no ***in clue who GGG is at the moment

Martinez at the moment is the only one worth going up to 160 for and it would be a BIG FIGHT...the rest are not even a Draw Yet and haven't even accomplished much

But he did not see this coming, then if he goes up to 160 and he beats Martinez after then it will be people calling for him to go to 168 and fight Ward it is a never ending quest to see Mayweather lose

Mayweather can't even keep his weight up to 150 before the fight but he should go to 160? LMFAO

This is Boxing not the WWE
You realize that the Mayweather vs Martinez PPV is so plausible at 156lbs right? How hard would Team Martinez fight and campaign to sign that contract if Mayweather Promotions makes the aforementioned offer? HBO wouldn't have a legal leg to stand on because they've got NOTHING to make a comparable PPV with and the courts wouldn't deny Martinez this financial pot of gold which HBO could reasonably partake in via joint venture because they've got precedent (Lewis vs. Tyson 2002)

There is no marketable mega-fight which has the risk/reward ratio of Mayweather vs Martinez PPV at a reasonable catchweight besides Pacquiao but Top Rank gives that fight issues and HBO could make a more compelling legal argument against that joint venture because Pacquiao is a proven cash cow on his own while Martinez is not

Nor do they have the kind of fanatic fanbase that would buy the fight anyway despite the lack of competition.

Either he fights at 160 on PPV or nobody is buying. I've seen plenty of his own fans say the same thing. Or he can just fight on regular CBS against any of these no-hopers and probably pull a decent rating.

It was ****** of Showtime to sign such a ridiculous deal with Mayweather in the first place knowing that they only had one fight (Alvarez) that was a guaranteed sell. Nobody wants to see Mayweather vs. Khan, Alexander, Bradley, or Ortiz.
I disagree. i think Mayweather Bradley is a very marketable fight. Bradley is still undefeated (despite the controversy), coming off of one of the greatest fights in a long time against Ruslin, and if he runs through Marquez, he'll certainly deserve a match against Mayweather.

Danny Garcia would be a marketable fight too, though I really don't wanna see that quite yet. Danny simply isn't ready. Perhaps in another year or two, and he still possesses that '0', then it would be potentially a blockbuster fight.

Broner in a year or two, provided he does his part and lives up to the hype, will be extremely marketable. And I don't buy that big bruh lil bruh crap. They've each taken shots at one another through the media, atheir egos are too inflated to both fit in the same room. Eventually, their relationship will boil over IMO.

Khan, provided a victory, would be very marketable as well. His speed honestly would give Mayweather a challenge. His high volume offensive game would make the fight very interesting and would bring the best out of Mayweather..

Regardless of what people who dislike Mayweather say, the vast majority WILL watch the fight despite saying otherwise. Hate em or love em, he's an entertainer, an elite boxer, and one of the best ever.. Certainly the best of our era.

And if boxing writers, hardcore fans, and the professional boxing community is honest they should tell people these fights will almost certainly not be competitive and to only put down their money if they want to watch Floyd dominate again. They probably won't pose any kind of significant challenge. If Bradley can beat Marquez in a convincing manner then he may build some momentum, but he is a TR fighter and that poses problems for the time being. Guys like Garcia, Thurman, Broner (I'm not as high on him as some others, but he has some potential) are not ready. They could be interesting possibilities in a few years (maybe Floyd's last fight), but I think they get schooled right now.

Khan simply hasn't earned a fight and would only get it because he's English. If he beats Alexander than there may be some justification, but I still see Floyd beating him pretty easily unless Amir makes some marked improvements in his defense.

Martinez Vs Floyd would be the biggest fight outside Pacquiao and would probably be easier too, seeing as how Martinez's fighting style and deteriorating reflexes would play right into Floyd's speed.

i see Bradley making a statement against Marquez... Bradley will be the next opponent, watch. As far as Amir's defense, I'm sure it will improve since he dropped Freddy Roach

Khan's defense hasnt improved much at all since he left Roach. his last two fights speak to that.

We have had enough of advantages , like now fighting SM cause his old and falling apart and easy win for JR

                      but NO SUBSTANCE

We want to see a real FIGHT

We want to see a fight for GLORY

HBO will match GGG into SM next year if at all possible.

                      then

in Sept of 2014 We can possibly see the greatest fight on earth
