It is still a factor especially if you are trying to drop down to a weight you haven't fought at in years.

i like the idea and story behind it but i just cant get over the fact that bhop likes pad his legacy with much smaller men. his best wins have all been against smaller men

Come on man, Bhop is not a fool. He said himself that he knows his body, he wouldnt get down and be a dead man, unhealthy, none of that and he takes care of himself similar to Floyd. Age is not a factor as of now with these 2 Greats, they have it on display right now

U do understand Floyd would have to wear about 10 pounds in clothes, chains and money just to make weight!! Not to mention eat and drink while on the scale

You realize Floyd wouldn't have to weigh 160 right? Unless there are special rules Hopkins is stipulating

I agree plus It's easy when your cutting weight...all you have to do is cut the weight for that moment on the scale and then you rehydrate but when you have to gain weight for a fight wtf do you do?!! Floyd walks around at welter weight as it is

I'd love to see Ward vs Hopkins even though it'd be a boring and dirty fight, but it'd be a great chess fight for fans of the sweet science.
