Plus Mayweather promises to 1 up each of his opponents highest pay day. Hopkins would have a higher guaranteed purse than Canelo did because Hopkins biggest payday was $12 million against Oscar so Mayweather has to 1 up that. He doesn't wanna do that unless he's feeling charitable for Hopkins

Hopkins is in phenomenal shape for a guy his age but dropping to 160 would absolutely ruin him.

For fucks sake, fighters dropping in weight has proven to be disastrous, especially as they get older. Jones, Tarver and DLH should be enough to prevent fighters from doing this.
