Be honest.
if Floyd was willing to fight Golovkin, i have no problem with him fighting Quillin. IF he was to fight Quillin, i dont wanna hear **** about Golovkin being too unknown or any of that nonsense from Floyd extremists.
Sergio is a top 3-5 p4p fighter. thats why people want to see the fight. GGG is not. If sergio is no longer the lineal champ and no longer top 3-5 p4p, noone is going to call for the fight.
In 18 months, assuming floyd is still where he is and GGG has climbed into the position Sergio is in, then maybe they can fight. Do you expect GGG to be able to make 154 in 18 months?

I like the idea of a Hopkins showdown, and why'll we're at it, let him take Sergio's and GGG's belts while he's up there too. He's got the skill to do it, he's got nothing left to prove from 154 on down, what the hell, I'm all for Floyd becoming the new Middleweight King and putting a huge stamp on his legacy and strengthening his case for the #1 spot of all time.

I don't care how great your skill set is you reach your limit. 154 is his limit while I would like to see him fight Sergio. GGG has done nothing to warrant a Floyd fight outside of KO'ing C-level fighters. The only way he could fight at 160 is if he was out if shape. Personally he should retire cause the only thing he could do in the ring to make people happy is to lose.

We'll see, but a Golovkin fight looks to be unlikely for the time being.

Hopkins needs to go down to 154 (or 152) imo. He has a huge height and size advantage. I would like to see Hopkins fake an injury in the 3rd round, and then see a rematch on sept 14, 2015.
PS nobody buys this fight on a Mexican holiday lol. Unless they throw canelo on the undercard.

Remember that Hopkins came in at 156 when he fought Oscar when the agreed upon limit was 158. With Trinidad, Hopkins came in at 157, I believe.
