Floyd is the man. As much I hate to say it. He consistently makes everyone fight his fight. Nobody beats him if they allow him to dictate anything in the bout. It seems that too many fighters go in there with mindset to survive. In the past I think Floyd will loose and I am wrong EVERY time. Not being a fighter it is easy to say this is what you need to do to win. We all do it. We do it watching football, basketball, mma, etc. We don't know. Just one time I want to see a top guy go in there and execute a plan to make a war. Whatever the consequences. Take a chance. Make it ugly. Risk getting blasted out of there in a round. I agree with Mares on this one, what was Canelo thinking?

Canelo ain't $h1t and whoever is praising or excusing him for this fight is either a blind man or in denial, the kid is going to get beat up worse if he ever fight a top JMW-MW, like I say he is nothing, only looks, I told everyone that want it to heard, the gomez, hattons and lopez of the world will not prepared you for a fight against this guy, or any top contender like Lara, Angulo or Kirkland, he looked like $h1t against Trout, the open score help him a lot...

It's not about praising him or defending him, the thing is you can't look good against Floyd, and don't bring the Cotto fight because Floyd decided to make the fight more appealing, had he worked moving on the ring like his 2 last fights he would've dominated the 12 rounds with Cotto.

If you say Canelo is nothing, then you saying that Cotto, De la Hoya,, Mosley, JMM and all those hall of famers are nothing, because they looked bad too against Floyd. Double standards.......................

Only dude who looked good against Floyd was Castillo on their 1st fight.

You can't stand in front of Floyd and let him get off first, you have to be constantly moving your head as you go in and let your punches go and get the hell out of there just like you went in moving your head, let him come after you if he wants and if not just get a breather and do it again. You have to get respect early with power shots that way when you go attack his instinct will be to block first instead of counter and Canelo has the power to do that.

BTW De La Hoya beat Mayweather and Castillo deserve at least a draw. For fighting a boxing match against the best defensive fighter ever and one of the best boxer Canelo did good, specially for the experience diff

De la Hoya never beat Floyd, Call me a boxing freaky but I watched the whole fight in slow motion, De la Hoya never landed a big flush shot on Floyd, facts not words. and Castillo...............that dude gave Floyd the hardes night of his career. Canelo did OK, but just that.

I love how Canelo is somehow turning into a cherry pick for Floyd now.....just because he schooled him. Canelo beat Trout, who was one of the top fighters at 154, and everyone said Floyd-Canelo is the fight. Floyd fights him, schools him, now Canelo was too green and/or limited, a cherry pick. The guy can never win...
