Canelo had to be some wht nervous and he ended up fighting Floyd's fight but wtf he's 23 Mayweather was fkn scared though, he didn't try to go for the KO. Boring fight

I guess we watch a different fight because at not one point did Floyd look scared. Ok I get it he didn't go for the K.O because he was scared.WOW

The problem is no one can adjust in boxing the way Floyd can. So when that fact starts to sink in, then the threads about Floyd fighting the heavyweights get posted.

Floyd did win but he didnt totally dominate or school Alvarez at all, Canelo had him flinching and missing as well. Everyone else that stood toe to toe with floyd got socked up all night and outclassed. Alvarez deserves some respect for chess boxing floyd and didnt get beat up. yes floyd is great and yes he won butyou cats are blind sayin alvarez got dominayed and schooled

Floyd doesn't literally dominates opponents lately -- his hands are too fragile.
Floyd strategically dominates opponents -- and he did it big to Canelo.

People on here saying Canelo fought well...ok..now you have a weight and power advantage and the opponent backs up to the ropes...Do you? A. Throw a few combo hooks to the body..smother..do it again? Or B. Do you take three steps back and reset?


Therein lays why the kid looked bad. Cotto pressured Floyd and made Floyd have to leave himself a bit more open in the middle of the ring to win the rounds. Canelo wanted to fight in the middle of the ring the whole time. If someone is faster than you beating up the body slows them down some..The brute advantage he has is nulled in the center of the ring. He can't use his weight to tire the other man out in the center of the ring. He may have boxed decently but he messed up by not using his advantages when he had them. It was truly frustrating to see him back off Mayweather when he had him on the ropes because anyone giving him a chance knew if it came it would happen on the ropes. Mayweather is not a fighter you want fresh all 12 rounds..he boxed brilliantly and beat up his opponent because his opponent allowed him to. Will we see a rematch? Possibly, but the young man needs some new trainers and a full time S&C coach.

Do you remember when I told you that Canelo has no business in taking Floyd in the middle of the ring?... I told you that Canelo might have his chances when staying on his back foot or if he would rush Floyd with left hand combos into the ropes... Canelo tried both strategies but with no success...

I love how Canelo is somehow turning into a cherry pick for Floyd now.....just because he schooled him. Canelo beat Trout, who was one of the top fighters at 154, and everyone said Floyd-Canelo is the fight. Floyd fights him, schools him, now Canelo was too green and/or limited, a cherry pick.
