You cannot be wild and messy with Floyd , because you will not land anything substantial and 12 rnds is a long way to go in the first .

Boxing is very cerebral , at the very highest level of the sport fighting is brains , casual fans wont ever understand that , to them its just a fight .
It's about advantages, physics and mental aptitude. Floyd will eat you alive if you try to fight him in the center of the ring, tit for tat (quid-pro-quo). He is facing a naturally bigger man who should be able to push the smaller man around and take him out of his comfort zone. It's not about making it a brawl, it's about seeing where the weakness are and taking advantage of them.

If you play to another man's strengths, he will capitalize on the opportunity and not think twice about it. This is precisely what Canelo did. I'm not saying taking Floyd out of his game would be easy but it is the only way to stand a chance, not trying to outbox him....it ain't gonna happen.

Personally think that Pac-Bradley was a close fight, I watched that fight in slow mo and Pac was not hitting Bradley as much as it looked when I first watched the fight

got a pic with Mares at the fight. I was glad because I didnt get it during the Ghost fight like I shouldve.

He was spot on with this too. I said that the Trout fight may have been the worst thing to happen to Canelo because he thought he was Sweet Pea and could beat anyone like that but that is the worst way to fight against Floyd because you arent going to outbox him

You can easily see why Floyd pulled a fake retirement. Pressure fighters like Margarito and Williams scared the hell out of him. Non prime Cotto connected in rounds where he put pressure on Floyd.

Fight was a boring, bloodless fight. Easy money for both fighters. Not worth watching for most viewers.
