people are acting surprised that Floyd shut Alvarez out
there were no signs going in that Alvarez could be competitive
he's not a bad fighter, but just not good enough to hang w/ Floyd
the guy wasn't even able to look impressive against Trout
Alvarez woulda lost no matter what strategy he tried to use
the fact that he was cautious was cowardice, not a tactical error
he was in a big event and barely even tried

I've never understood why this fight got so much attention other than Arums media articles that everyone actually took as gospel.

Pac is a different beast. He has the speed and combination punching to trouble Floyd that Margarito never had. However, Pac is also easily frustrated and frustration leads to mistakes. I've seen many fights that Pac has become incredibly frustrated in and starts losing his ****. Marquez III, and Sanchez are two prime examples where he got way off his game plan and got so frustrated that he did mentally collapse a bit. He'd always keep trying and keep coming, but it would ten fold against Mayweather because he'd be getting hit cleanly, but not able to score back like usual.
What do you think Floyd's punches would do to Margarito if Pacquio pretty much hits way harder and hit Margarito with everything he could think of and he was not able to ko him or stop him from coming. Margarito would probably just laugh and run after Floyd if he had to, not predicting a winner but it would be a fight and that's the reason it never happend when it was supposed to.

Except he is the LAST guy on earth that should be commenting about anyone's loss...

This. He came out and hung for a short time until Mayweather does what he does best, and figured him out and dominated. Mayweather looked outstanding Saturday night. Canelo looked like a good fighter fighting a great one.

Golovkin would put Canelo into coma in 1st round. Canelo sucks.
