Garcia vs Matthysse Rematch?

Their absolutely needs to be a rematch. It was a back and forth fight with each guy winning a rd or two and the other guy doing the same in turn. The eye controversy also helps out. Matthysse dominated the 2 rds before the eye problem. Eye took the steam out of that big time.

I gave like 3 rounds to Lucas if that and I like him.
I went into the fight mostly even but slightly favouring Danny more because he is from Philly, and I felt bad watching that happen to Lucas.


Pure domination from Danny you can tell Bhop taught him how to clinch and fight.
no reason for a rematch just yet but it would be another good watch

Tonight's fight didn't warrant an immediate rematch. I don't think DSG will be at 140 much longer anyway, I don't think we'll see a rematch and I'm not too upset about that.

That's insane IMO, but people score it differently.

115-112, 115-113 type of fight with Danny winning.

I think it's different fight without the eye swelling.

Also, havent seen many people mention this, but when Matthysse knocked the Mouthpiece out, and the ref stopped the fight, Garcia didn't appear to know where he was. Ref took to long and let Danny recover.

I wouldn't call the low blows shameless because the majority of them happened because Lucas was pulling Danny's head down. The last one was legit and he lost a point for that. Th first one was as well and Danny was warned. I don't think any of them were intentional. It was a very good fight.

A lot were thigh shots that were purposely thrown and I believe that took a lot of steam off his punches . But I was impressed with dannys chin

If it was a thumb I’m sure Lucas would have said it. He was complaining throughout the fight like I have never seen. That why I knew early in the fight Danny had it in the bad.
